about us

The only extramural specialising in Creativity

Beaux-Arts Kidz Kraftz was started in 1996 in Kempton Park by Linda Lloyd. She gave the pottery lessons while being pregnant with her son as a way to provide for the family. Her lessons did so well in that first year, that she decided to franchise out the next year.

Over the next two decades, Linda grew her business all across Southern Africa by focusing on three important pillars:

1.) Creativity Development
2.) Fine Motor Skills Development
3.) Having a clay pot of fun

After the Pandemic hit in 2020, the educational sector was hit hard. Beaux-Arts was no exception. We had to think creatively and thus a new service was created: Clay As You Go. With this service we offer pottery once per month at a school. We use air-drying clay and the creation is painted on the same day. With this lesson structure walk-ins is welcome.

Most definitely yes. Depending in the kind of disability, the child will find immense benefits with the tactfulness of the clay.

Currently, we are not selling any new Franchise areas but we are actively recruiting for new Facilitators for Clay As You Go. Only requirements are that you must have at least three years of ECD experience, own a car and have a police clearance certificate. Full training in our programme is provided.

We’re very excited to launch our birthday party offering in select areas. For more information about it, please click here.

Three pillars we build our lessons on

Whole Brain Creativity

Pottery classes are the ultimate brain booster for kids! They’ll be having so much fun, they won’t even realise they’re tapping into both sides of their brain, honing their dexterity and imagination, and learning to express themselves emotionally through their art.

Fine Motor Skills

Our classes are the perfect workout for tiny fingers! Your child will develop fine motor skills like a pro while molding, shaping, and sculpting clay into their very own creations. Not only will they have a blast getting their hands dirty, but they’ll also be developing  hand-eye coordination and attention to detail, all essential skills that will help them in their daily lives.

Fun

we believe that learning should always be fun! Our pottery classes are no exception. We understand that you want to ensure that your child is getting the best possible experience, so we designed our classes around the main element of fun, making learning a enjoyable experience for kids.
